Living in Philadelphia

Philadelphia is much more than a convenient place to live and work—it’s also a beautiful, walkable city bursting with historic attractions, cultural amenities, affordable housing options, and excellent schools. Close to the Atlantic Ocean and the other cities of the Northeast, Philadelphia is an ideal place to call home.

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals occupies an eight-block area in Center City Philadelphia. An outstanding Italian Market is near TJUH, as are the trendy shops and restaurants of South Street. To the east is one of the most historic miles in America, home to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and many other buildings, parks, and museums. A few blocks to the north are Chinatown and the Reading Terminal Market, where you can find fresh produce and exotic foods. Theaters and music halls are all within easy walking distance.

If you choose to come to Jefferson, this vibrant place will be your work neighborhood. You’ll wish you came sooner!
